2010 Tour Announcement as Troy
Western Prepares for CD Release
St. Catharines, ON (March 6, 2010) – As spring approaches, Troy
Western prepares for two CD release shows for his new
much-anticipated album “Rocks In A Bucket” and his 2010 Spring / Summer Tour. Launching the entire adventure is the first
CD release and tour launch show starting at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 18 in Toronto,
ON, followed closely by round two for Troy’s home town crowd in St. Catharines, ON
at 5 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 27. With the warmth of summer arriving in June, Troy will head for the east coast of Canada for two weeks of tour dates, making stops
in Quebec and Ontario on the way back home.

Western’s new 5-track
album “Rocks In A
Bucket” will launch with his first CD release show on Thursday, March 18 at 9 p.m. at The Cameron House, 408 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario. Fellow singer/songwriters Carly Manley and Scott Normandy will also play that
night as part of the show. This night
will also serve as the “tour launch party”, taking Troy
into a series of southern Ontario
shows through Spring. The second CD release show is part of the Spring tour dates and is for Troy’s
hometown crowd in St. Catharines,
Ontario on Saturday, March 27 at 5 p.m. at Patrick Sheehan’s Pub,
101 St. Paul Street. Opening this show is Carly Manley and Myke Mazzei & The
Mod Villains.
The Spring
/ Summer 2010 Tour begins on Thursday, March 18 and will see Troy play a series of shows with various
formations of his band throughout the entire tour. Accompanying Troy on this tour is the band Myke Mazzei
& The Mod Villains. Myke is a Toronto-based singer/songwriter and
is doing double-duty in Troy’s
band, sometimes as bass player, other times guitarist, and often as backing
vocals. Together, they will be playing
several shows around southern Ontario
until Wednesday, June 2, 2010 when they head out for the east coast for their Summer 2010 tour dates.
Once there, the two bands will soak up the welcoming east coast music
vibe and Troy will explore some of his roots
while they bounce around to numerous places for nearly two weeks, performing in
New Brunswick, Nova Scotia,
and Prince Edward Island. On their way back home, they’ll be making
stops in Quebec, Montreal,
Ottawa, and Kingston
before the tour closing party and show in St.
Catharines.

concerts and open stages around the city with his band THE MOD VILLAINS. Their
album “Fields” is being played on

and the rest of the world.
