Rocks & Fields Tour Launches This June

St. Catharines, ON (April 6, 2010) – As the warmth of summer approaches, Troy Western comes off of two successful CD release shows for his new album “Rocks In A Bucket” and into his 2010 Summer tour with Myke & The Mod Villains called the “Rocks & Fields Tour”.  The adventure continues with a tour fundraiser on Saturday, May 8, 2010 in St. Catharines, ON, featuring several more bands throughout the day all in one venue.  Then with the start of June, the tour will head for the east coast of Canada for two weeks of tour dates, including stops in Quebec and Ontario.

The summer leg of The Rocks & Fields Tour begins on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, with St. Catharines-based singer/songwriter Troy Western promoting his new 5-track album “Rocks In A Bucket” while Toronto-based singer/songwriter Myke & The Mod Villains promotes his new album “Fields”.  Once they hit the coast, the two bands will soak up the welcoming east coast music vibe and Troy will explore some of his roots while they perform to numerous venues for nearly two weeks in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.  On their way back home, they’ll be playing to more audiences in Quebec and Ontario before the tour closing party and show in St. Catharines.

Troy Western's new album "Rocks In A Bucket" is putting the 'thunk' into folk-rock.  People around the world are saying his "music is beautiful and voice is hauntingly memorable" with "great presence and talent".  "Everything is perfect".  And there's much more to come from this St. Catharines, Ontario singer/songwriter.  Troy's momentum continues to build as more people turn on to what one fan deemed "awesome music"

Myke Mazzei is a Canadian singer-songwriter at heart.  His songs range from soft, sweet ones to electrified, hard road rock.  His songs overflow with passion and performance, regardless of subject matter.  Myke lives in Toronto, Ontario, and frequently plays concerts and open stages around the city with his band THE MOD VILLAINS.  Their album “Fields” is being played on grassroots radio stations from across Canada, Australia, and the rest of the world.
