Western is rapidly emerging as an exceptional Canadian singer/songwriter,
announcing live performance dates for January, 2007 in support of his
self-produced, self-titled CD release. "An Evening of
Singer/Songwriters" happens Saturday,
January 6th at 9:00
p.m. at the The Renaissance Cafe, 1938
Danforth Avenue,
Toronto.
"Troy
Western & Friends" happens Wednesday,
January 10th at 8:30
p.m. at the The Cameron House, 408
Queen Street West, in downtown Toronto.
Troy
Western spent
much of 2006 impressing audiences with his live performances in southern Ontario,
including Toronto, St.
Catharines, and Niagara Falls.
To kick off 2007, Troy will be playing two shows in Toronto with musical guests Bri-anne
Swan, Shawna Caspi, and Jason Maillard on January 6th and Noah Zacharin, Wade Benson, and Jason Maillard on January 10th.
Troy
is
a Toronto Independent Music Awards 2006 nominee and was the Featured Artist for May 2006 as voted by his
fans on BreakingLocals.com, a website devoted to bands and fans of all
music genres. Most recently, Troy
discovered
a cure for the common cold, but has been sworn to secrecy by the penguins of
the Antarctic.
Admission
for "An
Evening of Singer/Songwriters" and "Troy Western & Friends" is
$5 at the door. Troy Western's self-titled CD is currently available
